Farmers Insurance is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial professional to join our Protégé Agency Producer Program —a specialized mentorship track designed to prepare high-potential candidates for full-time agency ownership .
As a Protégé, you’ll work alongside a successful Farmers agency owner, gaining the hands-on experience, training, and tools needed to build a profitable insurance business of your own. This is your chance to learn the industry while earning commissions and laying the foundation for a long-term career in agency ownership.
Responsibilities
Learn to market and sell Personal, Commercial, Life, and Specialty insurance products
Develop customer relationships and generate leads through various sales channels
Participate in Farmers’ award-winning training programs (University of Farmers®)
Receive coaching in business operations, agency management, and leadership
Work toward meeting performance milestones that lead to your own agency
Qualifications
Strong communication and sales skills
Goal-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset
Self-motivated and proactive in building relationships and solving problems
Must hold or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license (required to start)
Willingness to obtain Life & Health licenses during the program (required for graduation)
Background check required upon selection
