This hybrid role blends instructional design, eLearning development, graphic design, and LMS administration to deliver branded, high-impact learning experiences across the employee lifecycle. You’ll serve as both a learning content creator and systems administrator: crafting scalable digital solutions and ensuring a seamless learner experience. This role will also bring a forward-thinking, AI-enhanced approach to content creation, using emerging tools like Copilot, Synthesia, and Rise AI to streamline development and personalize learning. The ideal candidate brings expertise in adult learning, a user-centric mindset, and a passion for impactful design. Success in this role calls for the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure and the agility to adapt to shifting priorities within a growing team. Position Responsibilities Instructional & eLearning Design Partner with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop engaging, outcomes-driven digital learning experiences (e.g., onboarding, compliance, leadership). Use AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, Synthesia, Pictory, Articulate Rise AI) to accelerate content development, create multimedia elements, and generate branching scenarios. Strategic partnership with operational teams to drive AI systems’ knowledge, trainings, and resources to enhance operational efficiency across the organization. Collaborate with L&D teammates to enhance ILT/VILT programs by creating supplemental materials – eLearning, one-pagers, or toolkits – that reinforce key concepts and extend learning beyond the session. Build eLearning modules using Articulate 360 and incorporate multimedia elements aligned to modern learning trends. Apply adult learning principles and accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity and knowledge retention. Visual & Brand-Aligned Design Create visually compelling learning assets – guides, infographics, templates, and presentation decks – that reflect Capital Rx’s internal brand. Create design documents outlining course objectives, content, assessment, and evaluation criteria. LMS Administration Manage LMS operations, including content uploads, course creation, curriculum setup, learner assignments, and reporting (UKG LMS experience a plus). Support learning campaigns and events through system setup, tracking, and learner communications. Monitor and report on usage and learning impact metrics to inform L&D strategy. Serve as first-line support for learner access issues and content troubleshooting. Identify AI-enhanced improvements for optimization. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Develop assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to measure learning effectiveness. Translate LMS data and AI-generated insights into executive-ready summaries and actionable insights. Identify opportunities to enhance learning personalization and engagement using data and automation. Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field. 3+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, and LMS administration, ideally within a fast-paced tech environment. 3+ years of experience in graphic/visual design. Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360 preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite to design branded, visually compelling learning materials and collateral. Strong working knowledge of LMS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, Cornerstone, Docebo, etc.). Experience with AI tools to support content creation (Copilot, Synthesia, Pictory, etc.) and working knowledge of broader AI capabilities. Comfortable experimenting with emerging technologies and adapting them to business needs. Demonstrated ability to apply internal branding to learning collateral. Expertise in applying adult learning principles, learner engagement strategies, and accessibility standards. Portfolio showcasing how you’ve reimagined dense, text-based documents into learner-friendly digital experiences. Strong organizational skills and experience managing content libraries, project timelines, and adapting to evolving needs. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with UKG LMS strongly preferred. Background working cross-functionally with Marketing or Comms teams to align tone, voice, and branding. Strong visual design skills and an understanding of layout, typography, and color theory within a corporate brand system. Bonus: Experience supporting L&D communications and internal campaigns. Bonus: Experience in healthcare specific or highly technical verticals. Base Salary: $75,000 – $105,000 This position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals.
