Lead Java/AWS Developer

Cognizant Digital Engineering is looking to hire a Lead Java/AWS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and AWS technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver robust and scalable applications.

- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Location: Wilmington - DE.

*Candidate is required to be in the office 3 days a week *

Roles and responsibilities:

· Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment

· Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices

· Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka)

· Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

· Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

· Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

Required qualifications:

· BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

· 10+ years of software development experience

· Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Invest API, Oracle, Kafka

· Experienced with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3,RDS, terraform). AWS Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred.

· Good experience in any of the rule’s engine (Ex. Drools)

· Good to have experience in JPMC on-premises cloud (Gaia)

· Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins

· Strong communication skills and experience in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.

· Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving

· Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.
