Job Description As a Lead Data Scientist joining Logic20/20's Advanced Analytics practice, you'll transform data into powerful insights capable of driving enlightened decision making. You'll work closely with the client to understand their business needs, then frame those needs as statistical problems and solve them with leading-edge methodologies. Along the way, you'll lead a diverse team of machine learning engineers, data engineers, analysts, and technical project managers, each contributing their own unique skillsets in creating world-class solutions.
What you'll do: - Learn and deploy new programming languages, algorithms, and applications
- Quantify the value of existing data and provide roadmaps for future development
- Model knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and develop solutions in Python, SQL, and/or R
- Grasp opportunities to broaden your scope into the realms of data engineering and data visualization
- Research and design statistical models to answer target questions, optimize processes and outcomes, and inform decision-making
Qualifications Must have: - 5+ years of strong experience and knowledge of Python or R
- 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge of SQL, creating advanced queries in a high-impact role
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques
- Strong cloud experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
- Experience building data pipelines
- Experience leading teams or mentoring
Highly preferred: - Master's degree or PhD in machine learning, statistics, computer science, data mining, math, or any quantitative discipline
- Consulting experience
- Experience working in the utilities industry
- Risk modeling experience

At Logic20/20, we believe in recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent. Logic20/20 offers a competitive compensation package, with a target base salary range of $175,000 - $190,000 for this role. The final base salary offered is dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
