Job Description

Position Summary:  Responsible for executing program policies, procedures, and practices that ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Perform tasks in accordance with Agency With Choice mandates such as processing new-hire paperwork and training for Support Service Professionals and Managing Employers. Facilitates orientation and ongoing training for staff in the department and serves as a supportive role to the AWC Supervisor.

Essential Functions (Primary Duties): 

• Responsible for AWC program compliancy.
• Completes AWC consumer and worker enrollment by phone, email, or in person as required.
• Train new enrollees to complete notes, timesheets, and new enrollment paperwork.
• Process enrollment paperwork and ensure paperwork is correct and accurate.
• Coordinates, verifies, and organizes bi-weekly notes, monthly budget statements, annual training, and driver information.
• Ensures Consumer, Support Service Professional (SSP), Managing Employer (ME), and state/county information is up to date.
• Ensures restrictive procedures or restraints are not being used.
• Interacts with outside agencies in a professional manner at all times with the ability to adapt to special circumstances.
• Handles day to day office class and visits by consumers and SSPs.
• Identifies and documents critical incidents, assisting with evaluating the data and providing a plan to address trends.
• Attends annual ISP meetings.
• Assist with the development of AWC policies, procedures, and trainings.
• Able to pass the ODP Certified Investigator’s Course within one year.
• Assists with general administrative duties (i.e. faxing, filing, copying)
• Facilitated orientation and ongoing training for FMS Departmental staff.
• Assists AWC Supervisor in a supportive role by providing oversight of specific tasks and projects.
• Conducts ongoing quality assurance and satisfaction surveys with program participants via in person visits, telephone calls, and electronic means.
• Facilitate Stakeholder and Consumer Advisory Committee meetings.

Role Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with people with disabilities.
• Ability to remain highly organized with acute attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
• Ability to effectively identify issues and develop, recommend, and implement a solution.
• Must have reliable means of transportation.
• Must be willing to travel to Berks and Schuylkill counties.
