The Department of Kinesiology in the College of Health, Life Sciences, and Education at Missouri Southern State University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month faculty position in Kinesiology and Sport & Recreation Management, that would start August 1, 2025.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate teaching excellence in undergraduate courses in Kinesiology and Sport and Recreation Management. Depending upon credentials, the position will be non-tenure or tenure-track with a teaching load of 12-15 hours per semester, service work including academic advising. Other duties are possible depending upon the position.
The teaching responsibilities associated with this position may include the following undergraduate courses: History and Philosophy of Physical Education, Team & Individual Sports, Lifetime Activities, Sports Around the Globe, Introduction to Sport and Recreation Management, Physical Activity for Special Populations and oversee internships.
