Job Description

We seek a Junior Material Support Specialist who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. As a team member, you will contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Marine Corps’ concept-based Force Development led by Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Combat Development & Integration (CD&I) . You will contribute towards designing and developing a modernized Marine Corps to campaign and win in an evolving threat environment. Your efforts will provide deployed MAGTFs with the capability to deny, deter, and, if necessary, defeat adversaries as part of a naval, joint, combined, and interagency campaign.

The Jr. Material Support Specialist will assist with assessing inventory of program owned assets to inform ongoing testing and laboratory asset development, under the supervision of the Material Manager.

Location:

• This position is located onsite in Quantico, VA

Salary:

• A salary range of $70,000-100,000 is available for this position commensurate with education, years of experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair equipment belonging to the government in support of experimentation (wargaming hardware and software, ground vehicles, surface, and aerial test asset materials, communications systems, and Electro-Optical/Infrared sensors).
• Work closely with the Material Manager in a warehouse setting.
• Prepares logistics support documentation and source data, such as inventory management or user documents necessary to manage the Experimental Division’s equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Forklift Certification

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required
• Clearance: Secret required at start

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant military experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Proficiency with groupware applications (e.g. SHAREPOINT, MS Teams, PowerApps development) and the Microsoft Office suite (e.g. MSWord, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
