Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Line Technician are to safely aid in the construction and maintenance of electrical lines, both underground and overhead. Assists other crew members with related work including trouble-shooting system problems, installing and maintaining outdoor lighting, and all other aspects of the cooperative's electrical system and fiber-optic lines as required. Ensures the highest level of service to our consumers by working as part of a team. After hours, during storms and emergency situations, requires the ability to work to restore power to our members.
*Note: The position description attached is for a fully-trained line technician. HEMC seeks to fill three positions with skilled linemen who meet the requirements and possess experience equivalent to HEMC's 1st Class Line Technician.
