Project Description:

• The Process Modernization project focused on transforming "processes" using modern Cloud and Agile techniques. This project is with a tier-1 mobile service provider with an emphasis of eliminating unnecessary work activities, alignment with industry best practices while modernizing the tools to gain efficiencies and lower costs. The foundation of this process transformation is leveraging the Atlassian JIRA APP.

Responsibilities:

• • Develop scripts in JIRA to meet specific predetermined requirements (A majority of these scripts are managed through Scriptrunner or other Atlassian Plug-ins)
• • Refine code and JIRA workflow to meet performance objectives and enhancing the end users experience
• • Work with analysts to prepare smoke and regression test cases and scripts
• • Manage code in multiple environment and coordinate release notes as required
• • Manage project work tasks as assigned and provide evaluation support of level of effort estimations
• • Assist analysts in the delivery of design expectations to client
• • Efficient in troubleshooting technical issues like build and deployment failures, troubleshooting code

Technical Environment:

• • Must have experience configuring JIRA, distributed applications, experience integrating multiple distributed components, developing advanced scripts within the Atlassian applications and plug-ins, including dashboards and confluence pages
• • Strong written and oral communication skills

• • Capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and incorporate these needs into technical solutions

• • Ability to assimilate information rapidly
• • Ability to work under time constraints

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Required
• • Hands on with Atlassian tools with specific experience in: Groovy, Scriptrunner, Table Grid, JETI,
• • Experienced in developing Custom Post-functions, Behaviors, Listeners
• • Good knowledge in scripting like SQL, JSQL, HTML, groovy, json, yaml, python, bash
• • Good understanding of JIRA custom workflows, transitions, triggers, custom fields, schemas, permissions

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Secondary
• • JIRA migration experience using Project Configurator
• • Experienced DevOps engineer with at least 4+ years in Azure
• • Hands on with DevOps tools and/or integrated orchestration tools in a JIRA environment (experience using. Jenkins, Artifactory, GIT, Sonar Qube would be beneficial )
