Commercial Custodian

Join Office Pride of Northeastern Indiana as a Commercial Custodian, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining clean and welcoming environments for our valued clients. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to excellence in commercial cleaning. Fort Wayne area Monday - Friday with Friday having flexibility to be weekend optional cleans 5:30 pm - 9:00 range for initial start time 2-3 accounts close to each other per evening (same accounts each night).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies and break rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols for various facilities.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as carpet cleaning and window washing.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve high standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must pass background checks and adhere to company policies.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
