We are seeking qualified IT Service Technicians to expand our business model . The tech should be business experienced in Desktop/Network/Server IT Support, Hardware, Software, Firewalls, Routers and CAT5e cabling is a plus. Some VOIP skills would be helpful.

Must have: Reliable Transportation and be available Monday thru Friday during 9am to 5pm. Some late evenings or weekends maybe required for special projects. This position is approx. 40 hours per week. We do not have any part-time positions available. A proper business dress code is required: Company logo Shirt (white) will be provided, candidates must have black pants, black belt, black shoes.

We are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver and has a proven track record of working within a team environment. The tech must successfully address challenging business user computing issues. If you have the experience and the desire, we'd like to talk to you.

Responsibilities include identifying, documenting and troubleshooting business user computing issues to resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies, management and maintenance processes. This position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources and unbeatable customer service.

New Hire benefits and pay will be determined based on Knowledge, Experience and Certifications.

Mileage is paid to and from jobsites when needed.

Minimum Skills Required:

•Minimum 2+ years experience in the field
•Knowledge of current supported software and technologies
•Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with users and vendors
•Passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem solving and exceptional customer service

  • Must be able to communicate technical jargon to non-technical people
  • Leading clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions)
  • Aggressive problem solver while simultaneously displaying excellent customer service

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Troubleshooting Computer Software and Hardware
  • Installation and Configuration of Windows Server 2012 and above
  • Exchange 2012 ~ Higher and Office 365 Apps
  • Active Directory Configuration and Maintenance (including GPO administration)
  • Configuring Outlook (POP/IMAP/local Exchange/hosted Exchange)
  • Installation and Configuration of Windows OS (both peer-to-peer and domain environments)
  • Fiber/Cable/DSL Connections (shared Internet connections in general)
  • Network Infrastructure (switches/routers/firewalls)
  • Ability to perform OS reloads including backup of user data, and recovery
  • Malware/Virus/Spyware Removal
  • Printing (local and remote)
  • Remote Desktop Connection (client and Terminal Server environments)
  • VPN Setup and Operation (client and server)
  • Wireless (WiFi) Protocols and Security
  • DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE FOLLOWING IS BENEFICIAL:

  • Office 365 Cloud Services ( Configure, Deploy, Maintain )
  • Enterprise Backup Solutions ( Local / Offsite )
  • Virtualization with VMWare and/or Hyper-V
  • MS-SQL ( 2012~Higher )

 

This Position Entails:

Promoting and Selling IT Services plus Upgrades.
Troubleshooting business user problems onsite and remotely.
Accurate documentation of all activities conducted.
The ability to manage, maintain, troubleshoot and support our business users' networks, equipment, software and services. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.

•Speak, read and write English fluently (Spanish is very useful)
•Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
•Reliable transportation
