Job Description
MGS has an exciting opportunity for an IT Intern , System Engineer track to join our team. As a IT Intern , you will assist and support the IT Team with a hands-on view to learn the technical side of the global system infrastructure. The IT Internship program is intended to introduce college-level students to MGS and the world of IT within a medical manufacturing environment. Student interns will engage in a 10 - 12-week internship opportunity in the summer of 2026 and will have an opportunity to be exposed to multiple technologies and business applications and will assist or lead the efforts of designated projects.
The IT Intern will be partnered with a Systems Engineer as their primary mentor for the Summer Internship opportunity. The Systems Engineer is responsible for end-to-end delivery of infrastructure solutions, including WAN/LAN networking, servers, and storage solutions that that are technically sound, resilient to failure, operationally supportable, secure, and meets the requirements of the business.
The IT Intern will be coached on office and communication etiquette and will meet with their assigned MGS mentor weekly to discuss projects and questions. The IT Intern will have direct exposure to senior leadership team members and will be expected to complete a final report out to the MGS leadership team at the conclusion of their internship.
