KPMG is currently seeking a Intern for Finance & Accounting Tax.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review, creation and distribution of internal communications materials, including email campaigns, Guides, presentations, FAQs and talking points
  • Work with tax research and compliance teams to develop and execute communication strategies and messaging that support key projects and deliverables for Firm Taxes
  • Support collaboration with brand, corporate communications, T&C and operational support teams to produce, format and deliver tools and resources to our partners
  • Conduct research and help develop proposals to support new requests for enhanced initiatives and programs
  • Work with technology team to maintain and enhance the Partner Center website, ensuring that content is current and tools are working effectively
  • Support ongoing programs available to assist partners meet their tax compliance and cash flow needs, including in-person educational events and video sessions for our new and retiring partners
  • Assist in the organization and promotion of Firm Taxes internal educational and team events
  • Perform administrative duties and support the Partner Care team with day-to-day tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook with Microsoft Access experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with interest in learning how to effectively communicate complex information
  • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
