Koester Construction is looking to add rockstar summer interns for the summer of 2025. If you are a current undergraduate student enrolled in a Construction Engineering or Construction Management program, we invite you to apply!

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Positive attitude, team player, and fun to be around
• Sets high goals and works hard to achieve them
• Enjoys providing organization to the bidding, estimating, development, and construction management process
• Ability to anticipate and resolve issues in a way that helps the entire team succeed
• Communicates effectively with the entire project team, including architects, engineers, owners, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Skilled in listening, assessing issues, and has the ability to solve problems independently
• Ability to participate in multiple projects while staying organized and complying with deadlines

Job Responsibilities may include:

• Bid solicitation, follow-up, and management
• Takeoff and estimating
• Subcontract and purchase order writing
• Submittal solicitation and approval
• Prepare and process change orders
• Process and manage billings, lien waivers, and job reports
• Lead meetings, create agendas, and take minutes
• Prepare and distribute close-out documents
