Mary Crow - State Farm Agent, located in Elkridge, MD, has an immediate opening for a full-time sales professional. Insurance experience is not required as we will train the right person. Our focus on fulfilling the needs of our customers and creating success for our team.

We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. More important than insurance experience, we are looking for the right fit. Sales experience is a must, we can help you get licensed and train you on insurance sales techniques.

Only candidates that meet the following criteria will be considered for this position:

1. Must have insurance, sales, and/or office experience.

2. Willing and able to make the commute to our Elkridge, MD location, this is an in-office position.

3. Must have or be willing to obtain a Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurance license.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Benefits Include:

• Work/Home balance with a Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule and NO weekends.
• $38,000 – 60,000 (includes salary, commission/bonuses, based on experience and licensing)

Requirements

• Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred.
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)
