About Brawerman

Brawerman Elementary School is a Reform Jewish day school with two campuses. The original West campus was founded in 1999 in a modern facility located in West Los Angeles. The East campus opened in fall 2011 in the heart of L.A.’s Koreatown, in the historic Wilshire Boulevard Temple. This position is on the West campus and reports to the Director of Innovation and Academic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Work collegially with diverse faculty in a fast-paced environment
• Establish a multitude of online student education accounts at the start of the academic year
• Assist students, ranging in grade levels from Kindergarten to Grade 6, in a variety of applications during scheduled technology lab classes
• Photograph and document student activity during technology classes
• Manage and edit student digital files for web publication
• Troubleshoot computer lab technical issues and interface with IT department for support to maintain, update, arrange for repair, move, connect, and recycle computers and peripherals
• Order, track, inventory, and store physical lab equipment, including but not limited to robots, hard drives, cameras, headsets, mice, and drawing tablets
• Maintain a positive relationship with outside suppliers and support vendors; coordinate with their teams to help resolve issues or repairs
• Set up classroom, including equipment and supplies, prior to each class
• Keep lab clean and well-organized

Required Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge and experience using Apple hardware and a variety of productivity and education applications running on OS and iOS, including but not limited to Google Drive, Scratch, Photoshop, Premiere, iMovie, or similar applications
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of basic electronics, with a maker mindset
• Understanding of networked environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines 
• Flexible interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills 
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely with a wide variety of tools, including but not limited to box cutters, scissors, and hot glue guns
• Enjoys working with children

Compensation

• $35,000-$50,000 based on experience and qualifications
• Salary is annualized based on employment from August 4, 2025, to mid-June 2026, paid over twelve months – an earlier start date is possible
