Job Purpose

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of parts.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment performance.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
• Continuously improve technical skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Competencies Desired

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and other departments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance management software.
