ATS is seeking a 1099 contractor to Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge on IBM Spectrum Protect, formerly Tivoli
• Expertise in building resilient, high performance Backup Solutions, specific to the installation/configuration of IBM Spectrum Protect server/client
• Technical support for backup and recovery required, preferably with large scale tape library implementations
• Troubleshooting skills of both server & client side
• Tape library administration and media management
• 5+ years as backup admin with Linux/Unix administration
• Proven problem-solving and attention to detail
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skill
• Ability to work independently as well as ability to collaborate across teams   
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Coordination with multiple stake holders / third party vendors for break-fix.
• Must have experience on tape rotation activity
• Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation
• Participate in weekly/monthly customer meeting and provide status reports
• Experience in capacity and performance scale out management

Preferred Qualification:

• Certified IBM Spectrum protect Administrator
