Job Description We are seeking a full-time General Manager to lead our HVAC team of installers and technicians. Energy Solutions is a top provider and a long-standing HVAC company in beautiful Lake Almanor, CA, a mountain resort area in Northern California that is thriving and growing. The ideal candidate for this position is looking to leave the hustle and bustle of city life and enter a four-season resort area with unlimited recreational opportunities. This candidate must have experience as both a manager and service technician/installer for a minimum of 5-10 years in an HVAC company. As our General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our HVAC company with the potential for growth. Energy Solutions does residential and light commercial services in heating, A/C, solar, and sheet metal fabrication. Our services cover a 75-mile radius of mountain communities, and the company has an excellent reputation with its repeat customers. This management position will earn competitive pay and will be based on experience. Energy Solutions also provides health insurance and retirement plans. Our ideal HVAC Manager Strong communicator in both verbal and written communication skills Team leader with good interpersonal communication skills Highly adaptable to new environment and business protocols Punctual, good attendance and enthusiastic Positive attitude with short-term and long-term goals Motivational skills and team spirit Goal setting and self-focused Organizational and task management skills General Manager Responsibilities Monitor and implement our company's processes as well as provide technical support to our technicians When necessary, you will assist in the field with technical issues, callbacks, and troubleshooting Perform estimates on repairs, new installations, and management of service contracts In addition to recruiting, hiring and firing, you must also maintain a consistent, structured technician group training program covering the areas of technical skills, safety, customer relations, sales, sales leads, and other processes Ensure each technician maintains our high standards of business dress code, upkeep of vehicles/tools, and customer relations Provide individual coaching and training to the technicians on ways to sell heating and cooling systems that best meets our customer's needs Conduct performance feedback sessions with technicians to help them reach their goals Oversee estimating, scheduling and ordering for jobs Monitoring inventory, tools and vehicles Requirements for HVAC General Manager Position 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC manager 5+ years of service technician/installer of an HVAC company EPA certification Valid driver's license and clean driving record Computer and technology literacy Benefits & Compensation $40-$60 per hour based on experience Company vehicle, tools and gas card Paid Time Off Paid Holidays
