The Intern Reports to: various Hiring Managers across Better Health Group This Team Member will perform administrative, clerical, and operational duties under the supervision of a direct manager. Hourly Rate: $15 - $18 p/hour Responsibilities Responsibilities include and are not limited to: - Provide entry- to intermediate-level administrative and clerical support, under the supervision of a manager or supervisor
- Participate in projects, programs, and events designed to develop professional skills and expertise
- Participate in the planning and implementation of initiatives
- Interact with coworkers and/or patients
- Conduct research, prepare reports and/or presentations based on findings, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Take notes during meetings
- May shadow multiple positions and train in a variety of tasks
- Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from manager, supervisor, or other professional staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Position Requirements/Skills: - Enrolled in an accredited university/college program (or obtained Bachelor's / Master's Degree no earlier than 24 months prior to date of hire); minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities
- Must be able to work professionally with confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
- Reasoning and critical thinking skills are a plus
- Results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery is a plus
Physical Requirements: - Physical ability to sit, stand, and move freely about the office
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to or exceeding 50%
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time; ability to climb stairs
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach and pull
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer
