Job Description

Our client is a leading financial services firm operating globally across investment banking, wealth management, investment management and fund services. As they continue to expand, they seek a diligent and knowledgeable Fund accounting professional specializing in Hedge Funds to join their client services team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead client interactions and manage client expectations ensuring exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy in fund accounting and client reporting.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and structures to increase efficiency within the department.
• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring all client deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide expert knowledge on matters relating to fund structures and market practices, particularly in hedge funds

Key Skills and Expertise

• Knowledge and experience in Hedge Fund Accounting.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• side-pocket accounting
• Partnership accounting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with high-profile clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
