Job Description

The Document Management Specialist will play a crucial role in providing controlled document support by managing the document lifecycle in the cloud-based electronic Document Management System (eDMS). This position will involve separating centralized regional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into site-specific SOPs, ensuring content clarity, consistency, and adherence to company documentation standards and practices. The specialist will serve as a subject matter expert on the eDMS, advise document owners on good documentation practices and Client standards, and execute various document management service components.

100% on-site

Responsibilities:

1. Review content for formatting, readability, and provide recommendations
2. Facilitate the selection and appropriate use of controlled document types
3. Upload documents into the eDMS and route them for approvals
4. Execute the periodic review process
5. Collaborate with document owners to clarify requests as necessary
6. Regularly communicate with internal clients to keep them informed of their document status
7. Promote and convey good documentation practices

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
2. Experience in formatting and editing documents
3. Strong collaboration and communication skills
4. Ability to work across organizations and regions
5. Understanding of document management best practices
6. Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements
7. Previous experience with VeevaVault desired
8. Education requirement Bachelor's Degree
