Are you an Independent Contract delivery driver who is interested in contract opportunity in the **Grand Prairie, TX**
Associated Couriers is looking for a dependable and professional Delivery Driver (**CDL Class A, B, or C with Hazmat Endorsement**) to complete local deliveries on Sunday through Wednesday nights starting at 6pm. There is an opportunity to acquire more work upon availability.
**Qualified applicants are required have the following**:
* At least 21 or older
* Have an active CDL license with hazmat endorsement
* Have a valid DOT med card exam
* Be able to lift/carry up to 125 lbs
* Have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents on the past 3 years
* Have dependable transportation: minivan or SUV.
**Pay**: $0.60 per mile (**averages $960 - $1080 per week**)
**Other Details:**
Associated Couriers uses a contract management platform called Openforce for Independent Contractors. Since this is a contract, you are essentially your own business and there are costs that go with owning your business which include the following:
**One-time fees:**
* One-time enrollment $40 fee for Openforce Contract Management Platform that is deducted out of the first settlement
**Weekly Fees:**
* A weekly Openforce (Contract management Platform) fee for $12
* A weekly Next Stop Mobile (dispatch software) fee per user of $5
* Monthly occupational insurance fee (work comp insurance) which is 2% of settlements up to $65 per month
