Cookie Cutters in Richmond, TX is looking for a receptionist to join our team. We are located on 5418 W. Grand Pkwy S, Ste A. Richmond, TX 77406.

We are looking to add a receptionist to our amazing team! The team member must love working with kids, be cheerful, engaging, self-starter, ambitious, energetic, resourceful, and detail-oriented who will thrive in a fun, fast-paced work environment. Must be available weekends and occasionally mornings or afternoons during the week.

Job Type:

Part-time

Weekdays Hours:

Monday - Friday 10am to 6pm

Weekends Hours:

Saturdays 9am to 6pm

Sundays 11am to 5pm

Job Summary:

Operate front desk and cleans salon/work stations.

General Accountabilities:

• Greets clients upon arrival and answers phone calls in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.
• Conducts client check-ins/check-outs, and manages the flow of customers between check in and the service.
• Uses time productively and efficiently.
• Schedules client appointments properly, and make reminder calls to clients for the next days appointments, and call clients to reschedule if they miss their appointment.
• Offers pre-paid and loyalty cards to customers and creates Baby's First Haircut certificates.
• Updates and maintains customer information records.
• Operates cash register, process transactions and issue receipts.
• Keep product shelf fully stocked and clean.
• Sells and general knowledge of retail hair care products and the ability to make recommendation.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Takes constructive criticism positively and respectfully follows Cookie Cutters guidelines and policies enforced by management.
• Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation, and keep cutting stations clean and organized, as well as the front desk and lobby area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by management.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues.

Job Summary:

1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
