Smith Power Products is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician Level III to join our team, specializing in Standby Power Generation .

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on generators and components at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and documented procedures.
• Engage professionally with customers to provide top-tier service and support.
• Prepare and submit service reports, timesheets, and warranty claims accurately.
• Continuously develop your skills through training aligned with business and industry needs.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report any incidents or concerns.

• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills, including High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
• Ability to perform electrical diagnostics and repairs independently on power generation products.
• Proven expertise in complex troubleshooting and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Experience training and mentoring junior technicians.
• Valid driver’s license required.
