Job Title: Food Service Worker
Location: Marquette, MI
Pay: $15.48 per Hour

What’s the Job?
- Under routine supervision, provide skills and engage in the service to customers in large volume food service, cash operations, banquets and catering.
- Make advance preparation for food items to be used the following day as required.
- Determine daily raw food requirements and inform supervisor for requisitioning. Remove necessary food items from storage prior to preparation of the menu.
- Follow proper thawing and storage procedures.
- Perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to: wash, clean, prepare, mix, fry, slice, dish, set-up, serve, stock, store, load, unload, order, maintain, inventory, skirt, arrange, assign.
- Work with a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to: cash registers, floor machines, hand and power tools, mixers, choppers, peelers, griddles, grills, fryers, steamers, ovens, hand utensils, mobile equipment, etc.
- Set up serving lines, salad bars, deli bars, dessert areas, condiment areas, banquet and catering functions. What’s Needed?
- Full Time, temporary position
- Shifts between the hours of 6:30am - 9:30 pm
- Weekend work is a needed…could flex a bit with a weekend here and there off.
- High School Graduation or Equivalent
- One year food service experience with emphasis on customer service.
