NorCal Ambulance is looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join our rapidly growing team! We want to hear from you! Reports to: Director of Support Services Hours: Monday - Friday (Full Time) Pay: $70,000 - $80,000/yr Basic Functions: Oversee the NORCAL vehicle fleet program and employees while ensuring proper vehicle activities regarding diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and paperwork. Responsibilities: Work as mechanic on NORCAL Fleet vehicles. Ensure vehicle: operability, reliability, and safety. Organize the fleet maintenance program and oversee fleet employees. - Preform repairs and maintenance as needed
- Ford Transit Experience (Preferred)**
- Track fleet services required and completed
- Ensures compliance with regulations that associate with Fleet activities
- Develops and maintains outside vendor and service provider relationships
- Helps develop, maintain, and ensures adherence to Fleet budget
- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
- Determine repair and service requirements and coordinate necessary services
- Track and record service invoices
- Record and file vehicle certifications
- Work with Operations to schedule and conduct vehicle inspections
- Assist the Support Services Director with fleet issues and management
- Vehicle repairs and inspections as applicable
- Other Duties as assigned

- Displaying strong attention to detail and work effectively under pressure.
- Must be capable of utilizing and maintaining digital inventory systems.
- Must have training as required to perform adequate and safe work on NORCAL vehicles.
- Must be capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Knowledge and skills : - Handle sensitive documents.
- Knowledge of computer basics.
- Vehicle mechanics and parts
- Vehicle emergency equipment and use, and training as mechanic with knowledge of emergency vehicles.

Certifications/Licenses: Valid: California Driver's License, Medical Examiner's Certification, Ambulance Drivers Certification, DMV Driving Record in good standing in accordance to insurance company standards. Equipment: To perform this job successfully, an individual must use a variety of equipment including gurney, wheelchairs, and other medical and ambulance related devices. Individual must also be able to use vehicle related tools and equipment such as: - a jack, spare tire(s), batteries, lights, etc.
