Now Hiring: Fireplace Installation Technician Bring the Heat. Build a Career. Godby Hearth & Home is looking for a motivated, hands-on professional to join our installation team. In this full-time, year-round role, you'll work with industry-leading hearth products—both gas and wood-burning—making homes warmer, safer, and more inviting. We’re a team of fewer than 30, but we punch well above our weight. What You’ll Do Install fireplace systems per manufacturer specs, Godby standards, and local codes. Conduct site inspections and take final measurements. Keep paperwork tight and accurate—details matter. Maintain showroom displays and assist with customer-facing tasks. Lift heavy equipment (75+ lbs solo, 200+ lbs with the team), climb ladders, and work on rooftops. Think critically, problem-solve on-site, and adapt to each day’s unique challenges. What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical skills and confidence with power/hand tools. Familiarity with framing, blueprints, gas and electrical connections (preferred but not required). Great communication and time management skills. Respect for safety and a valid driver’s license (no DUIs). Here’s what you can expect: Pay Range: $19–$40/hour depending on experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pm (45 hours/week) with optional overtime in busy seasons.
