Job Description
Responsibilities: Supports the Accounting and Finance team by performing assigned duties which are not limited to the following:
- Assist in creating regular and ad-hoc financial reports using Excel or OneStream
- Contribute to the development of dashboards to visualize financial performance.
- Assist in gathering and organizing financial data from various sources.
- Conducting financial analysis and research.
- Help prepare financial models and forecasts as needed.
- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
- Review internal and analyze internal controls around financial reporting
- Work with team members to understand business requirements and assist with various projects.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Gain exposure to financial concepts and data analysis techniques.
- Receive mentorship and training from experienced professionals in the field.
Qualifications: - Must be actively working towards a Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics bachelor's degree
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals in the United States
- Effective communication skills which include verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
