Job Description

DSJ Global is looking for an EH&S Site Leader to oversee worker's compensation compliance, health/wellness programs, and develop strategic site safety initiatives. The EH&S Site Leader collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with EHS systems, policies, procedures, and all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and administer Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for Pharmaceutical Systems.
• Develop policies and procedures for employee health services.
• Oversee worker's compensation compliance and health/wellness programs.
• Develop strategic site safety programs.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Environmental Compliance, Health and Safety regulation, and Workers Compensation.
• Ensure compliance with EHS systems, policies, procedures, and local, state, federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and integrate EHS policies and metrics into plant management.
• Implement site EHS management system and policies.
• Communicate risks, issues, and plans effectively.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
• Maintain occupational safety and health programs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste shipment.
• Train associates and oversee day-to-day compliance.
• Interpret environmental laws and permit requirements.
• Lead inspections and investigations.
• Monitor hazardous materials and waste records.
• Lead Emergency Response Team and EHS improvement plan.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental, Health, and Safety, Nursing, or related field.
• Preferred certifications: Functional Safety, Certified Safety Specialist, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
