Primarily responsible for the development of processes and monitoring of regulatory compliance to develop and maintain the emergency management and business continuity programs which include mitigation, response, recovery, and planning for UCDH patients, visitors, and employees.
Through individual actions, fosters emergency management and business continuity programs at University of California, Davis Health, which includes all hospital, ambulatory and ancillary buildings, and the Schools of Medicine and Nursing. Creates an integrated program that continuously seeks to reduce or eliminate risks and hazards to UCDH from all threats and hazards through assessment, planning, training, and response. The position also supports UCDH goals of fostering communication, promoting a safe working environment for staff, the facility and public; cooperationg with staff from other departments and teams to facilitate the delivery of services to the UC community; and developing and recommending improvements to processes in all areas of responsibility.Apply By Date 11/07/2024 at 11:59PM; Interviews and recruiting process may occur at any time.

This position reports directly to the Plant Operations & Maintenance Director. This position is responsible for the development of processes and monitoring of regulatory compliance to develop and maintain the emergency management and business continuity programs which include mitigation, response, recovery, and planning for UCDH patients, visitors, and employees. This position supervises 2 FTE's, maintains department website, emergency mass notification system and other programs as needed.
