Due to the continued growth of our practice and an influx of new patients we are looking for an experienced Embryologist. Each one of our embryologists is fully trained in all the tasks listed below. InVia Fertility will not be sponsoring a United States Work Visa.

InVia Fertility Specialists’ principal medical staff includes physicians who understand that patients need doctors who are not just experienced, but accessible and personable.

Doctors Karande, Klipstein, Puscheck, Luu, and Shandley bring decades of expertise in reproductive medicine to every patients’ case, and will work closely with patients to develop a personalized fertility treatment plan that incorporates state-of-the-art fertility treatment methods appropriate to their needs.

This position’s core hours are 7:00am – 3:00pm Monday – Friday with occasional weekend (not every weekend) coverage. Employees that work weekends can talk to the lab supervisor about what days during the week you would like off. Compensation is based on experience. Each one of our embryologists is fully trained in all the tasks listed below. This position will be at our Hoffman Estates, IL location.

As a Chicago area fertility clinic, we are proud to be able to support the needs of clients from the Chicagoland area's diverse communities—often in their own languages. We have staff members who are fluent in Spanish, Polish, Russian, Hebrew and Hindi, as well as English.

We also support patients seeking fertility treatment with egg donation and surrogacy.

This role is responsible for the independent execution of all routine technical procedures in the laboratory, adhering to established protocols, procedures, and policies.

Essential Functions:

1. Accurately report laboratory results.
2. Process specimens efficiently and in accordance with procedures.
3. Actively participate in the quality improvement program.
4. Manage inventory control for supplies and cryopreserved specimens.
5. Prepare culture media and perform quality control testing.
6. Assist in oocyte retrievals.
7. Prepare sperm samples for procedures.
8. Inseminate oocytes.
9. Assess fertilization outcomes.
10. Cultivate and grade embryos.
11. Perform micromanipulation techniques, including AZH and ICSI.
12. Carry out embryo transfers.
13. Cryopreserve embryos and sperm.
14. Thaw embryos and sperm as needed.

Education Requirements:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a biological, chemical, or physical science.
• Proven experience in tissue culture and sterile techniques.
• Documented completion of 30 IVF procedures under the supervision of a qualified laboratory supervisor or director
