Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Email Marketing Specialist Austin, TX (preferred) | Remote Role Overview The Email Marketing Specialist will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of email and SMS campaigns for our dispensaries and brands. From building flows to testing campaigns, this role will directly influence revenue, engagement, and demand creation. Key impact areas include: Retail : Growing subscriber lists, boosting revenue through lifecycle campaigns, and reducing cart abandonment. Brand : Driving wholesale demand with stronger CTRs on B2B menu emails, structured campaign calendars, and co-marketing initiatives. What You’ll Do Campaign Management Plan, build, and deploy campaigns in Klaviyo and Alpine IQ Create automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, retention). Collaborate with design on creative and layouts. Optimization & Analytics Track and report KPIs A/B test subject lines, send times, segmentation, and creative. Improve CTR on B2B menu emails Growth & Engagement Implement list growth strategies at POS, online, and via social funnels. Develop limited-edition drop calendars and co-marketing campaigns. Partner with Social Media Specialist to convert followers into subscribers. Compliance & Best Practices Ensure campaigns meet cannabis marketing regulations. Maintain list hygiene, deliverability, and unsubscribe management. Qualifications 2–4 years of email marketing experience (CPG, retail, or cannabis preferred). Proficiency with Klaviyo and Alpine IQ Strong knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and automation flows. Data-driven mindset with proven optimization skills. Excellent copywriting and storytelling abilities. Familiarity with cannabis marketing compliance (preferred, not required).
