Overview:

We are partnered with a long-established, 100+ year electrical contracting firm seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large commercial and healthcare projects in the San Antonio market. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to manage complex electrical scopes from preconstruction through closeout.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee:

• Budgets and schedules
• Manpower planning and procurement
• Subcontractor coordination
• Engineering and field communication
• Safety, quality, and overall project delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through completion
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower plans
• Coordinate with supers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and owners/GCs
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality
• Oversee safety compliance and code adherence
• Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, cost reports, and documentation
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Identify risks early and implement solutions
• Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative culture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of construction project management experience
• 2+ years with a commercial electrical contractor
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and installation practices
• Proven success managing budgets, schedules, manpower, and subcontractors
• Proficiency in Primavera (P6), Procore (or similar), Word, and Excel
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
