1. All necessary background checks completed before starting position

Job Description:

1. Loading election vaults with specific supplies, following provided lists
2. Verifying accuracy of a variety of items sent to polling locations
3. Assisting with loading and testing voting machines for the election
4. Preparing voting machines for delivery to polling locations
5. Staging delivery of voting equipment
6. Provide technical support to voting locations during Early Voting and Election Day
7. Inventory a large amount of supplies
8. Additional duties as they arise

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to work long hours for several days
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
3. Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Time Requirements:

1. Typical work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. Schedule will require some evening, early morning and weekend work during high activity periods; with some days requiring 12 or more hours on the job
3. Period of employment will vary depending on need

Abilities, Knowledge And Skills Requirements

1. Organizational skills a must
2. Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment use
3. Ability to follow procedures and directives given both orally and written
4. Ability to take direction from permanent staff, and lead workers.
5. Ability to do routine, tedious and repetitive tasks over long periods while maintaining concentration
6. Ability to complete assigned tasks within allotted time periods
7. Ability to learn several different tasks and assignments over a short period of time
8. Ability to quickly develop skills in sorting, packaging and counting numerous items for distribution to polling places with accuracy
