Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Education Specialist or Special Education Teacher looking to make a significant impact in Oakland, CA? Celebrations Speech Group is hiring for an in-person school-based assignment for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive, individualized instruction to students with special needs.
  • Administer and score individual assessments and standardized tests.
  • Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Create and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students with modified IEPs.
  • Train and support general education teachers and paraeducators.
  • Maintain and update students special education records.
  • Ensure all students receive services per their IEPs and track their progress.
  • Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive education.
  • Work with the Director of Special Education to align programs and services.
Qualifications:
  • Valid, active CA Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (California CTC).
  • Preferred: 1+ year of special education experience.
  • Ability to provide direct, in-person services to students.
  • Strong rapport-building, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Knowledge of special education law and policy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Compensation:
  • Competitive annual compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00.
