Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Education Specialist or Special Education Teacher looking to make a significant impact in Oakland, CA? Celebrations Speech Group is hiring for an in-person school-based assignment for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities: - Provide intensive, individualized instruction to students with special needs.
- Administer and score individual assessments and standardized tests.
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Create and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students with modified IEPs.
- Train and support general education teachers and paraeducators.
- Maintain and update students special education records.
- Ensure all students receive services per their IEPs and track their progress.
- Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive education.
- Work with the Director of Special Education to align programs and services.
Qualifications: - Valid, active CA Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (California CTC).
- Preferred: 1+ year of special education experience.
- Ability to provide direct, in-person services to students.
- Strong rapport-building, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of special education law and policy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Compensation: - Competitive annual compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00.
