The BDX Chapter Lead will be responsible for:\u00A0\u00A0

Directly managing a team of full-stack engineers that work across 7 squads within the product area\u00A0
Providing technical leadership and coaching for all BDX engineers, with particular focus on web application development on AWS\u00A0
Driving e2e application portfolio strategy - roadmaps, TLM, standards and ensuring scale & reuse across the portfolio\u00A0
Partnering with product owners to prioritize technical efforts and provide input on product features and capabilities.\u00A0
Collaborating with Architecture and Platform Engineering teams to set technical direction and ensure alignment with the wider Fidelity technology strategy.\u00A0
Creating a diverse and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging, connection and community\u00A0
Managing talent reviews, performance, compensation, goal setting, development, and recruitment\u00A0
Facilitating learning across the chapter to promote skills and career growth\u00A0\u00A0

10+ years experience in technology management and/or leadership, with a proven record of developing high-performing engineering teams\u00A0
Significant experience with web application development on the cloud Angular, Vue, Node.js, REST/Graph APIs, AWS\u00A0
Confident and influential leader with the ability to create a positive & collaborative culture\u00A0
Ability to influence and build strong relationships with technical and non-technical partners, including senior leaders\u00A0
Experience working within a large & complex company with a mature development ecosystem\u00A0
Proven track record of managing a diverse application portfolio, including TLM and production support responsibilities\u00A0
Proven record of evaluating and implementing new technologies and engineering practices\u00A0
Strategic thinker with experience developing and executing technical roadmaps\u00A0
High degree of organization and the ability to quickly context switch in a fast-paced environment\u00A0
A positive attitude and the ability to quickly build partner confidence in chapter strategy\u00A0
Desire and ability to mentor and coach engineers to achieve their full potential\u00A0

The BDX team builds and maintains digital solutions that enable Fidelity associates and clients to collaborate on critical service transactions. Our applications are used by many thousands of PI associates and Fidelity customers to complete a variety of important transactions, such as money movement and account opening.\u00A0\u00A0
Our team is comprised of 7 teams primarily based in North Carolina, New England, Texas, and China. Our portfolio consists of 6 different products & 20+ applications. Our primary tech-stack is Angular, Node.js, REST/Graph APIs, and AWS. We are looking for a strong development leader who can help evolve our engineering practices & take us to the next level!\u00A0
