Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives of HGI and PSC.
    • Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with company goals.
    • Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
    • Oversee employee relations issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and satisfaction.
  3. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
    • Assist with the recruitment efforts for both HGI and PSC staff, ensuring the attraction of top talent.
    • Assist implementing recruitment strategies that align with company goals and diversity initiatives.
    • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and assist implementing programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
    • Implement leadership development initiatives to build management capabilities across the organization.
    • Coordinate with corporate HR to leverage company-wide training resources and programs.
  5. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Manage the compensation programs for HGI and PSC staff, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
    • Conduct regular salary reviews and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
    • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated to staff.
    • Assist with managing employee records and ensure data privacy and confidentiality.
  7. Culture and Employee Engagement:
    • Promote a culture of inclusion, diversity, and respect across HGI and PSC.
    • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
    • Act as a champion for the company's values and mission, ensuring they are reflected in all HR practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the hospitality or related industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
