Job Description About this job... Nosco is looking for a Digital Press Operator on either Second shift at our Bristol, PA facility.
As an employee owner in this position, you will produce printed roll labels in order to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance to all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
In this role, you will... - Set up and operate an ABGDigicon Omega label press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
- Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
- Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understands what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
- Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with downstream operators).
- Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
- Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
Success factors... - Preferably +2 years of digital press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
- Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
- Flexibility to work any shift and Overtime. Work in a fast pace environment with ability to deal with change.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read a ruler to 1/64"
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
