We're seeking a creative individual to join our successful YouTube channel focused on retail deals and product reviews. Our videos regularly trend nationally and reach millions of viewers, helping them discover the best products and savings at major retailers.

The Role:

We're seeking a versatile Digital Content Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role will support our production process by creating short-form content, filming in-store content and helping expand our presence across multiple platforms.

Compensation:

• Independent contractor position with annual compensation of $42,000 - $55,000 based on experience and skills
• Mileage reimbursement for any travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit local retail stores (Walmart, Costco, etc.) to film high-quality video footage of products
• Assist with video editing projects as needed
• Strategize, film, and produce short-form content for platforms like YouTube Shorts
• Cut and repurpose content for distribution across TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms
• Organize and label video files according to our established system
• Upload and manage content across multiple platforms
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and time-sensitive opportunities
• Work alongside other Lincoln, NE based team members.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and time-sensitive opportunities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic video editing skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Creative mindset for short-form content development
• Excellent communication skills
• Available for regular store visits and filming sessions
• Based in Lincoln or Omaha, NE area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interest in YouTube, social media, and digital content creation
• Understanding of platform trends and popular editing styles
• Experience with content creation across multiple platforms
• Familiarity with editing software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or similar)
• Enjoys the hunt for a good sale or a deal
