Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide comprehensive IT support to both office and lab environments, handling technical escalations and ensuring smooth operations for onsite employees. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to various IT projects while maintaining a high level of service. Responsibilities: - Deliver Tier 1 to Tier 2.5 technical support for desktop systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to GSuite, Windows OS, and other software applications. - Manage ticketing systems to track and prioritize IT requests effectively. - Perform hardware refreshes, replacements, and maintenance to support operational needs. - Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and recovery. - Support lab and office IT environments by addressing specialized technical requirements. - Participate in IT-related projects, contributing to planning and execution. - Provide mobile device support and troubleshoot connectivity issues. - Document processes and maintain standard operating procedures for consistent service delivery. - Collaborate with teams to improve IT systems and ensure security compliance. Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in desktop support and technical troubleshooting. - Proficiency in GSuite and Windows OS support, including advanced problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with Office 365, Zoom, Slack, and other collaborative tools. - Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or Confluence. - Knowledge of hardware maintenance, imaging, and replacement processes. - Ability to work effectively in both office and lab IT environments. - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to support. - Understanding of mobile device management and related technologies.
