Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide care instructions.
• Utilize dental software such as Oryx or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Valid dental hygiene license
• Proficiency in chairside assisting and patient care
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
• Experience with Eaglesoft and Dentrix software
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and vital signs monitoring

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $56.85 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
