Job Summary: The
PROSPER Database Operations and Management (O&M) Administrator is responsible for managing the daily operations, maintenance, and support of the PROSPER database system. This role ensures data integrity, system availability, and optimal performance. The Administrator will also handle user training, system updates, and maintain essential documentation. The position is based on-site and requires a
U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph .
Key Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: - Daily O&M PROSPER Database Checklist
- Execute daily operational checks to ensure the PROSPER database is functioning correctly and efficiently.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, data integrity, and accessibility.
- Ad Hoc PROSPER Reporting
- Generate customized reports upon request from internal stakeholders.

- Collaborate with data owners to ensure reports are accurate and meet stakeholder needs.
- Data Validation and Verification
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness within the PROSPER database.

- Communicate with users and data owners to verify inputs and resolve discrepancies.
- PROSPER User Training and New Account Setup
- Provide training to new and existing users on the proper use of the PROSPER system.

- Set up new user accounts, assign appropriate permissions, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Unit Test DEV PROSPER Database Version Builds
- Participate in testing new PROSPER database builds before they are deployed to the production (PROD) environment.

- Ensure that new builds are stable, functional, and meet operational requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities: - Manage DEV Taskboard
- Oversee the progress of development (DEV) tasks, ensuring proper prioritization and timely completion of features and fixes.
- Collect and Chart User Metrics
- Gather user activity and system performance data.

- Create and maintain charts and dashboards to monitor trends, identify areas for improvement, and optimize system usage.
- Manage/Update PROSPER Documentation
- Maintain and update user guides, slick sheets, and other documentation.

- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date with the latest system features and best practices.
- Database Version Notes for PROD
- Prepare and maintain release notes for new database versions prior to production deployment.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth version transitions and proper communication.
Qualifications: - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience : 2-5 years of experience in database management, system administration, or IT support. Experience with MS Access or other desktop database systems is preferred.
Required Technical Skills: - MS Access : Strong proficiency in managing and maintaining MS Access databases, including query creation, data relationships, and designing forms/reports.
- Microsoft Excel : Required experience with Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating charts and dashboards.
- Data Validation & Troubleshooting : Expertise in data validation, troubleshooting, and ensuring data consistency in MS Access databases.
- VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) : Basic knowledge of VBA is a plus but not required; ability to automate tasks and create custom functions would be beneficial.
- Microsoft Office Suite : Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and other Office tools for documentation and reporting.
Security Clearance: - U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required for this position.
Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Working Conditions: - On-site position located at Bethesda, MD
- Ability to work in a secure government facility and handle sensitive information.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
