Cyber Security Analyst Intern | Port Security Project

HazeGrayCyber, LLC is focused on delivering Cyber Security and Zero Trust Solutions to the US National Defense community and our allies and partners.

We are looking for a part-time Cyber Security Analyst Intern that has experience with Security Risk Analysis to spearhead a research project being conducted to evaluate potential cyber security threats to port security.

Location: Hybrid, in office as required

Responsibilities:

• Document potential cyber security threats and vulnerabilities to commercial port infrastructure
• Develop potential solutions to mitigate cyber security risk
• Stay current on Information Technology and cyber security trends
• Support Anglicotech Supply Chain-Resiliency Operation Center (SC-ROC) as needed

Required Education and Experience

• Working to attain bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred
• Completed coursework in cyber security related courses
• Familiarity of cyber security references such as NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-161
• Familiarity of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or with limited supervision
• Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, and initiative/proactive skills
