Customer Service Representative- Chapin Furniture

Chapin Furniture is a family-owned business looking for an enthusiastic and organized Customer Service Representative to serve in our reception area. We are a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art home furnishings retailer in Chapin, SC, near Columbia, SC.

 

This is a part-time position.

Approximately 30 Hours during our open times of Monday-Saturday from 10-6, most likely to include:

• 10-6 Fridays
• 10-6 Saturdays
• 10-6 Mondays
• Extra hours as needed on busy sales holiday weekends

 

Customer Service Representative Candidate Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Excellent customer interaction skills in person and on phone.
• Must be able to type efficiently and accurately. No hunting and pecking.
• High competency and efficiency with use of computers in both Mac and PC environments.
• Good organization skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to accuracy with data entry on calculator and computer.
• Ability to handle monetary transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Must be willing to work on holidays when store is open, and occasional Saturdays (store closed Sundays).
• Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Screening required prior to employment.
