Job Overview: CRNA

Location: Lexington, KY
Shift Details:

• Full-Time, 4x10 schedule OR Full Time, 5X8 schedule OR 3X12 Schedule

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Provide anesthesia services for various procedures, including orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and neuro (no heart or OB).
• Perform intubation, central line placement, and arterial line placement.
• Typically no need for blocks.
• Support Staff:
• Work alongside other CRNAs, anesthesia techs, and anesthesiologists.
• General ratio of 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident (can go up to 1:4 for low acuity cases).
• Patient Population:
• Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (no neonatal cases).
• Average of 1-9 patients per day, depending on the caseload.
• Department:
• Hospital-based, Level 1 Trauma Center.
• CRNA responsibilities include coverage for orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro procedures.
• EMR: Epic (preferred).

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification: NBCRNA
• State License: Kentucky
• Certifications:
• BLS/ACLS preferred
• Skills:
• Intubation, central line placement, and arterial line placement are required.
• No OB experience needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Rate: 200.00/hour
• Overtime: 1.5x normal rate after 40 hours/week.
• Holiday Pay: 1.5x normal rate on select holidays
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (standard).
