Role Overview: As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing tax reviews, tax planning, and tax harvesting for high net worth individuals, primarily in the mortgage industry. This role will require you to utilize your knowledge of tax laws and strategies while working with clients remotely via Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed tax reviews for high net worth individuals within the mortgage industry.
Develop and implement strategic tax planning tailored to clients' financial goals.
Manage tax harvesting efforts to optimize clients' tax situations.
Stay current with tax laws, providing expert advice on any regulatory changes that may impact clients.
Prepare and review complex income tax returns with precision.
Identify tax planning opportunities and potential risks, offering solutions accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of all financial and tax data.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and internal information.
Contribute to the development of tax strategies that align with business objectives.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
5+ years of experience in tax accounting, specifically with high net worth individuals.
Strong experience in tax review, tax planning, and tax harvesting.
In-depth knowledge of tax codes, compliance, and corporate tax procedures.
Familiarity with the mortgage industry is highly preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency with tax software and digital tools.
Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Salary: $ 30.00 40.00 Per Hour
