Corporate Litigation Paralegal

A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Canton, Ohio office. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to work independently on a variety of legal matters while supporting attorneys across multiple practice areas.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences

  • Conduct factual investigations and prepare exhibits, charts, and case materials

  • Manage both paper and electronic discovery, including organization and production of documents

  • Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and related legal documents

  • Create and maintain case-management databases and track deadlines

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and external contacts via phone, email, and in person

  • Provide administrative and case-related support as directed by attorneys

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with Paralegal Certificate, associate degree in paralegal studies, or comparable experience preferred

  • Experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and accuracy

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information

  • Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Current Notary Public commission required

  • Salary commensurate with experience ($55,000–$65,000)
