We are currently looking for a full-time copywriter to contribute to our existing Content division of our growing Marketing Team. Job Summary:
Our Marketing Team’s Copywriter will write persuasive text that will be published or used online, in radio, television, podcasts, press releases and other media, as well as create email drip campaign content, blog content and other internal and external marketing copy. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record directly tying their content to revenue generation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Writes advertising and informational copy to be used in broadcast or published media whether in print or digital format, including for media spots, webinars, podcasts, etc.
· Contributes to written content on our website, social media channels, email drip campaigns, and newsletters.
· Researches and edits copy for blogs.
· Develops slogans and copy to persuade our target audience, both internal and external, to engage with our products or services.
· Presents ideas to leadership and modifies them based on feedback provided.
· Oversees the production of advertising materials when external copy work is required.
· Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent creative and writing skills.
· Ability to create advertising slogans, email campaigns, blogs, promotional spots and other miscellaneous marketing copy.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to quickly and efficiently determine content needs and objectives with specific campaigns, as well as iterative analysis and tracking of content performance and resonance. .
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
· SEO knowledge and applied expertise of SEO best practice to digital content creation strongly preferred.
· Two to three years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Prolonged periods of time reviewing copy and text dense materials.
