Job Description

Location: Charlotte Harbor, FL

Salary: $90k-$110k + 20% Bonus

Benefits: M/D/V, PTO, 401k

Large resort in Charlotte Harbor, FL is looking for a Controller

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting. Finance, and/or related fields
• Minimum seven (7) years’ experience, including public accounting
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance initiatives including ensuring maintenance of appropriate internal controls in compliance with SOX required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Experience in the hospitality/resort industry preferred
• Experience with SAP accounting software and/or Fourth/Adaco procurement software preferred

Responsibilities:

• The Controller is responsible for the oversight and development of the accounting team. The Controller works proactively with internal and external auditors in the execution of the audit, quarterly reviews, and accounting matters. In addition, the Controller is responsible for accurate financial statement reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
